In the year 1935, There was a discussion in 'Hill House' and as a result of that this  school was established as a mixed school in ' Henawattha Temple'. This school is situated in Western province  Colombo district, Kolonnawa region and 7th electorate in Mulleriyawa.

' by Mr Serasinghe Bandara. Year 1937 this school as Paramavinnanartha Buddhist Society with the request of Mr M P Aberaham  Caldera , Mr N G S Sethan Perera , Mr Luvi Caldera and Mr Chales Caldera and with the advice of Dr Gunapala Malalasekara and Dr D E Hettiarachchi and Dr J E Jayasooriya 
                    This school was promoted to a "Mr Ranasinghe Sagara and it was Vested by the Government. The duration forever principal Mr V M  perera it was Demoted to a Primary school in 23rd of February 1963 , again it was promoted to a Maha Vidyalaya by the principle Mr D S Hettiarachchi in 1968. With the age of Secretary- Six year the school has become a leading school the western province
